Tales of Xillia Gets Prior Tales Heroes DLC Costumes

XilliaPS3 by Shawn

Earlier today we got word of the price of the DLC costumes that were previously revealed and we learned about the game's near-perfect Famitsu score. But it looks like there's one more piece of news left --- more DLC costumes.

Tales of Xillia Gets Prior Tales Heroes DLC Costumes Tales of Xillia will utilize the contrast between light and shadow, which will lead to the game having a different art style direction than Vesperia's anime-style graphics or Graces's watercolor-style graphics (it could be more of a hand-painted or oil painting-like feel if the concept artwork is any indication). Baba stated that when he saw some of the concept artwork images running on actual hardware he was very impressed.

The costumes are themed after previous Tales heroes and will be available for purchase for 300 yen each on October 6. Jude gets Leon, Milla gets Dhaos, Alvin gets Kratos (the Cruxis version of his outfit), Leia gets Farah, Elise gets Mint and Rowen gets Barbatos.

Tales of Xillia will be released on September 8 in Japan exclusively on the PS3. No word has been given on a North American or European release.

Tales of Xillia Gets Prior Tales Heroes DLC Costumes (2) UPDATE (8/31): Another scan from the same issue has been revealed which states that on the day of the game's release additional attachment DLC will be made available which alters the playable character's hair styles. Said DLC will be available for 100 yen as a set.
