Tales of Xillia 2's protagonist Ludger Will Kresnik owes a huge sum of money. 20,000,000 gald to be exact. His classmate Nova will help with collecting the millions of Gald you owe.
To earn Gald you can use the usual method by fighting, but their is a much easier way to do so. Tales of Xillia 2's quest system lets you take on quests and complete them for gald. As you pay off Ludger's loan the area in which you are able to explore expands, and more quests become available. Be warned though, if you fail to pay off the debt the collectors will come and track Ludger down.

Tales of Xillia 2 is a sequel to the original Tales of Xillia and takes place a year after its conclusion. The sequel features an improved battle system which allows the player to switch between different weapon styles at-will during battle. Direct choices can now be made during specific cutscenes similar to Square Enix's Final Fantasy XIII-2 which affects the outcome of the events in real-time.

Tales of Xillia 2 will be released in Japan on November 1. The first game will be released sometime in 2013 in both North America and Europe.
