Famitsu's review scores for Tales of VS. and new information on Tales of VS. for Mobile have been released. The game will pit the various Tales of characters in a fighting free-for-all, using their well-known Artes, locations from the different games, and even items from the various games, as well as each character's unique Mystic Arte.

It appears the game will use a special login ID and password that will link up with Tales of VS. on the PlayStation Portable, allowing you to send/receive data to and from both games. By doing so, you can earn bonus items/equipment/etc. You create your own character, which you can change as the game progresses (think Radiant Mythology here), such as their class, title, etc. Battles use a system called Command Battle, which has you pick from four choices: Attack, Defend, Artes, and Counter. If you have played Chess, this system basically works by you guessing the next move of your opponent.

As for the review scores, according to Nintendo Everything, the game got 8/8/8/8 (32/40), which isn't bad for a spin-off title.
