Only a few days before the official release of Tales of VS., it seems Namco Bandai has put in yet another extra, this time in the form of special battles and weapons. The game will pit the various Tales of characters in a fighting free-for-all, using their well-known Artes, locations from the different games, and even items from the various games, as well as each character's unique Mystic Arte.

In addition to being able to download special battles, it also appears special items, such as the joke weapon Cotton Candy, will be available. By going to Connection -> Network Communication in the game's menu, you can enter in codes, such as JUMPSPBATTLEWJVJM which was revealed in the scan, which allows you to download the item.

Tales of VS. is set to be released on the PlayStation Portable this Thursday in Japan.
