Back in July, Namco Bandai announced their plans for localizing Tales of Xillia for release in North America and Europe in 2013. Following up on that news on the eve of TGS 2012, the publisher has released the first-ever English screenshots for the game.

Tales of Xillia utilizes the contrast between light and shadow, which will lead to the game having a different art style direction than Vesperia's anime-style graphics or Graces's watercolor-style graphics. Baba stated that when he saw some of the concept artwork images running on actual hardware he was very impressed.
