According to a recent radio interview that was leaked online, it appears that the rumored PS3 Tales of title, rumored to be named Tales of Unitia, has been confirmed with a release date, alongside another PSP Tales title.
According to the interview, the next Tales series title will be exclusive to the PS3 in Japan and will be released sometime during Fall 2010, which would mean that much of the game should have already been completed by now, which isn't that huge of a stretch considering the "Team Symphonia" part of Namco Tales Studio's last game was back in 2008 and most of the main team likely didn't take part in the PS3 port of Tales of Vesperia.
In addition, the interview also stated that an unnamed PSP Tales title would be be released sometime in the future, although no specific information was mentioned.
UPDATE: The blog posting has changed since the original publishing of this news story. It now gives a "late 2010" release instead of Fall 2010. That time frame could likely signal another Tales of Graces-style release where the game would come out around December.

ShinigamiKael: haha... not rly actually :D. Both tales of destiny 2 and tales of rebirth dont have cc system... the old tales of destiny had tp system simiular to the one in eternia... but again am not sure who made those 2... top was made by people who are now tri ace... think they made destiny and eternia before they completely left... not sure...
Not exactly sure on this but I think most of "Team Destiny" was the people who worked on Eternia/Destiny 2. Then you had "Team Symphonia" form, which worked on Symphonia/Abyss/Vesperia, and the other one worked on Rebirth/Destiny PS2.
After that things kinda get murky because the teams have merged together, so you have parts working on all of the different games, although it's clear more of the "old" teams have their influence on certain games, such as Graces using the... CC system.
been waiting a long time for this to be released, I thought they had abandoned it due to financial problems. It didn't sell as hot as it could have in the US.
If this is true, then I'm actually glad that Sony finally fixed my PS3 this time.

The differences between two team are commonly known like this "using TP or CC", for artes . . . Lol~

well... team symphonia also made abyss which for me was much better than symphonia itself... anyways isnt that actually team symphonia and destiny now working together anyways on most of the games?:D and the ones who dont are more like leftovers?xD like reserve hehe. and anyways other teams are not from namco tales developer.. :o (those which made f.e ToL, ToT ) dont want those touching the games anymore lol
Yes but It's one of the major heads of the franchise, and it's an interiew... I don't lose hope on them touching the subjet even if it is for confirming they'll stay japan only... :(
No localization announced at japan, dude. It must be new game project due to 15th anniversary, maybe~
Team destiny game or team symphonia, i like both of them so it doesn't matter since it "will probably" release on ps3 i expect better graphic and addicting battle system. For psp the rumour said about Radiant Mythology 3 OR tales of VS 2. Well, let us wait for official confirmation on 15th.
Since I don't have PS3 or PSP I would rather prefer Tales of Graces western localization and distribution or the new title being multiplatform for 360 as well but seems none of those will be happening even if this rumor it's a fake.
Anyway it's great seeing the Tales Of series to continue.
But seriously I think Tales of Graces in EU and NA could help a important bit to clear the studio's debt... as well as Hearts.
But it's just fantasy, sadly.

This had better get confirmed. I know it's not part of the rumor itself, and simply speculation not based on any new info, but I definitely wouldn't mind seeing a Team Symphonia game on the PS3. I think I said something to the same effect in the July 15th announcement thread, but this is exactly what I want to keep seeing out of Namco. All the unlocalized titles in the world couldn't kill my enthusiasm for the comparatively reliable output of this particular dev team. I'll just have to learn not... to get too reliant on filling the gaps with fancy extras.
