New Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X Scans Reveal New Info

New Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X scans have been released, which has revealed a plethora of new information about both the Narikiri Dungeon and Tales of Phantasia parts of the title. If you didn't already see the previous news article about the game, Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon was originally released 10 years ago on the Game Boy Color and was a very impressive game for its time.

Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X, Namco Bandai, Sony PSP, Sony The first bit of information in the scan reveals the voice actors for the various characters. The male lead Dio will be voiced by Mitsuki Saiga. The female lead Mel will be voiced by Kana Asumi. The wardrobe with the eyes is named Albert and will be voiced by Naoki Tatsuta. And the last character, the fairy named Etos (the new character revealed in the previous scan) will be voiced by Yukari Tamura.

Albert appears to store all of the costumes that Dio and Mel can change into, with over 80 different costumes being available. The gauge that could be seen in the previous scan is called the Emotional Brave Gauge, although it's not currently known if it acts like a Overlimit gauge or if it's something complete different entirely.

Although the scan doesn't state it, this could signal that the characters are able to move freely around the battlefield instead of only being able to move while launching an attack. However, it does appear some of the sprites haven't been updated, as the heroes from the introduction still use their sprites from the PlayStation remake of the game.
