Earlier today was the second day of Tales of Festival 2010, but unlike yesterday there doesn't seem to be that much news coming, except for the rest of the popularity poll results and some other minor Tales news.
As we reported on earlier, Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X will be receiving a pre-order bonus DVD. The name of the DVD will be Dramatic DVD Tales of Costume!?. There's also rumours that an Asbel costume for Dio will be made available, which would make sense considering he appears on the DVD.

Earlier today was the first day of Tales of Festival 2010, which brought some new news along with it, along with partial results of the Tales of Popularity poll that was going on at Tales Channel earlier this year.
Namco Bandai has confirmed the rumors that Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X will be having demos. The first demo will hit in early July, which will focus on the improved battle system in the Tales of Phantasia part of the game. Later in the month, a second demo will hit which features the Narikiri Dungeon X portion of the game. The rumored August 5, 2010 release date was also confirmed at the event.
As for the rumored PS3 Tales game, known as Tales of Unitia, the game was a no-show at the Festival except for a mention that this Summer a "major" announcement would occur. It's unknown why they would push the unveiling that far, but they may be putting some extra polish on the game and didn't want to unveil it just yet.
More news as well as the results of the popularity polls can be found in the full story.
According to an update on Famitsu's website, Namco Bandai will be re-releasing the Tales of the Abyss cameo costumes on the PlayStation Store later this month. Originally, said costumes were only available to those who had pre-ordered the game before it's release earlier this year.
However, these costumes are not exactly the same as the ones that were released before. The hair color and other modifications were made to match the original Tales of the Abyss characters better (the pre-order costumes merely just added the clothing onto the characters), and the "clothing" icon that appears next to DLC costumes is also there now.
Namco Bandai will release these new costumes on December 15th for 150 Yen each as a tie in to mark the fourth anniversary of the original game's release in Japan.
Lloyd Irving (Tales of Symphonia), Senel Coolidge (Tales of Legendia), Tear Grants (Tales of the Abyss), Rita Mordio (Tales of Vesperia) and Colette Brunel (Tales of Symphonia) have all been officially revealed to be in Tales of VS in one massive update to the official minisite on Tales Channel, Namco Bandai's hub for Tales series updates in Japan. The game will pit the various Tales of characters in a fighting free-for-all, using their well-known Artes, locations from the different games, and even items from the various games, as well as each character's unique Mystic Arte.
The two male updates consist of Lloyd Irving and Senel Coolidge. Lloyd retains his Mystic Arte from Tales of Symphonia, Falcon's Crest. As can be seen in the video, he combines his two swords to form the Eternal Sword and then performs the Mystic Arte. Senel uses Lord of Creation, which was one of his higher-tier attacks in Tales of Legendia. Not surprisingly, most of his attacks are throwing-based.
More information, as well as the videos, can be found in the full story.
A new Director's Corner video has been released on the official website for Tales of VS. The game will pit the various Tales of characters in a fighting free-for-all, using their well-known Artes, locations from the different games, and even items from the various games, as well as each character's unique Mystic Arte.
The video first features Philia Felice (Tales of Destiny) and Tear Grants (Tales of the Abyss). This part of the video is meant to show how you can use items in conjunction with special attacks (in this case spells) to deal more damage, as Philia does to push Tear into the mine-like object. The other half of the video features Senel Coolidge (Tales of Legendia) and Stahn Aileron (Tales of Destiny). This part of the video shows how one can use the walls in the battlefield to chain together attacks by hitting them before they can land, as can be seen in Senel's 19-hit combo.
