Tales of Festival: Day 2 News

PSP by Shawn

Earlier today was the second day of Tales of Festival 2010, but unlike yesterday there doesn't seem to be that much news coming, except for the rest of the popularity poll results and some other minor Tales news.

As we reported on earlier, Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X will be receiving a pre-order bonus DVD. The name of the DVD will be Dramatic DVD Tales of Costume!?. There's also rumours that an Asbel costume for Dio will be made available, which would make sense considering he appears on the DVD.

Tales of Festival: Day 1 News

ToS: The AnimationPSP by Shawn

Earlier today was the first day of Tales of Festival 2010, which brought some new news along with it, along with partial results of the Tales of Popularity poll that was going on at Tales Channel earlier this year.

Namco Bandai has confirmed the rumors that Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X will be having demos. The first demo will hit in early July, which will focus on the improved battle system in the Tales of Phantasia part of the game. Later in the month, a second demo will hit which features the Narikiri Dungeon X portion of the game. The rumored August 5, 2010 release date was also confirmed at the event.

As for the rumored PS3 Tales game, known as Tales of Unitia, the game was a no-show at the Festival except for a mention that this Summer a "major" announcement would occur. It's unknown why they would push the unveiling that far, but they may be putting some extra polish on the game and didn't want to unveil it just yet.

More news as well as the results of the popularity polls can be found in the full story.

New Inomata-Designed Tales of Graces DLC Costumes

GracesWii by Shawn

Namco Bandai has announced that two new DLC costumes will be coming soon to Tales of Graces. This game is the first mothership (Namco Bandai's term for non-spin-off games in the Tales of series) game for the Wii. The previous Tales of game for the Wii, Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, was classified as a spin-off sequel.

Both costumes are designed by Mutsumi Inomata, the woman responsible for the character designs in Tales of Graces. According to Dengeki, both costumes will be available on January 20th, 2010. However, Famitsu's coverage didn't make note of that date, so it's uncertain if that is the correct date.

New Tales of Graces Promotional Video (PV)

GracesWii by Shawn

A new Tales of Graces promotional video (also known as a PV) has surfaced (appears to be from the Nintendo Week video on the Nintendo Channel on Japanese Wii consoles).

While the beginning of the video is nothing new, the latter half has some stuff we haven't seen before. We can see what seems to be some of Pascal's family members (they have the same white/red hair style as Pascal), Malik facing off against Kurtz, the man who was in the recent Character Video from the game's official website, some green-haired lady who looks like an antagonist, and a clearer shot at that monster who appears in the cavern when the characters are kids.

Two More Tales of Graces Character Videos

GracesWii by Shawn

Two new character videos for Tales of Graces have been released, featuring Asbel Lhant and Pascal.

This game is the first mothership (Namco Bandai's term for non-spin-off games in the Tales of series) game for the Wii. The previous Tales of game for the Wii, Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, was classified as a spin-off sequel.

Asbel's video shows him getting angry at Cheria Barnes for doing something (likely something she wasn't supposed to do, if her character video was any indication). Pascal's video has her talking to Asbel and Richard about something while walking down a path.

Videos after the jump below.
