With Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X's release in Japan yesterday, many would think Namco Bandai would relegate the official website updates to small updates like adding passwords. Well, the company had a special update planned for today, namely a video showing off what the game's battle system is capable of.
As can be seen in the video, once the player gets the Emotional Brave Gauge (EBG) over 100%, it makes it very easy to string together attacks, which allows the player in the video to net a 30+ hit combo, ending it off with one of Mel's Mystic Artes.
Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X was released on August 5, 2010 in Japan. No word on an North American or European release.
With only two more days left before the official release of Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X in Japan, Namco Bandai has put up two more costume videos, this time centered around Dio's Sniper costume and Mel's Princess costume.
The Sniper costume seems to favor both short and long-range attacks, with Dio being able to attack at close-range and from afar during different parts in the video. Mel's Princess costume appears to have her wield a spear, which obviously caters to close-range attacks.t

After about a month since the last costume update, Namco Bandai has put up some more costume videos for Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X, focusing on Dio's Masquerade costume and Mel's Battle Master costume.
Both costumes seem to focus on fast and furious aerial attacks, much like some of the combos that were present in Tales of Graces and the PS2 version of Tales of Destiny. From all the videos we've seen so far, it appears that players that enjoy fast, frantic action and those who enjoy slow, thoughtful action will be at home with the game.

With only about a week left before the release of Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X, Namco Bandai has put up some more gameplay videos on the game's official website, helping to show off more of the game's dialogue and characters.
Much like the previous gameplay videos, these videos are snippets of a scene in the game. Doesn't seem like there's anything majorly new in them, however.

In June, we reported on Amazon.co.jp (the Japanese arm of Amazon.com) putting up a listing for the official soundtrack for Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X. Up until now, however, we had no idea what the cover for the soundtrack would look like. This changes today, as the website has put up the artwork for everyone to see.
The artwork features Norn, Dhaos, Londrine and Etos, oddly enough forgoing showing the main characters of the game, Mel and Dio. It may be possible that the alternate side of the cover has them or they are somewhere else on the OST design, however. Amazon.co.jp has also listed the official artwork for Hanako Oku's Glass Flower, the official theme song for the game.

Until now we've seen almost every aspect of Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X, from the battles to the skits. However, Namco Bandai has yet to show us how the dialogue is presented in the game. That ends as of today, as they have put two new dialogue videos up, both focusing on Dhaos.
The first video centers around Norn and Dhaos, while the second video features Dhaos talking to the entire Narikiri Dungeon X and Tales of Phantasia casts.

We've seen various gameplay and dialogue videos of Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X, but we've yet to see the game's skits in action. That changes as of today, as Namco Bandai has just added videos showcasing it on the game's official website.
As seen in previous scans, Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X uses the old-school, face "box"-style skit format, although the boxes and the characters are much more animated than in games like Tales of Symphonia. The first video showcases Mel, Dio, Kururu and Etos, while the second video showcases Dio, Etos and Claus F. Lester.

Almost a week after the last update to the official website for Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X, Namco Bandai has updated the website yet again with two new videos, showcasing some of the Mystic Artes which can be used in the game.
In Mel's video, one can see her using the Mystic Arte Big Bang while wearing the Witch costume. In Mint's video, one can see her using the Mystic Arte Time Stop, which was previously a normal Arte in Tales of Phantasia.
