Tales of Graces f Unveils Website With Two New Videos

Graces fPS3 by Shawn

Since the initial reveal of Tales of Graces f late last month, the official website for the game was only a teaser site with the game's official logo and some music playing in the background. Namco Bandai has finally properly unveiled the website, and it includes some new character videos.

Tales of Graces f (the f stands for "future") has an extra post-game story which takes place after the game's original ending. Without spoiling anything, there seems to be an increase in the monster population, which increases the amount of monster attacks around the world. This causes Asbel and his group to set off once again to determine the cause behind the recent disturbance.

There doesn't seem to be anything new in the videos, but it does give a better look at the improved in-game graphics which we've only seen in motion in the game's first trailer.

Tales of Graces f is set for a Winter 2010 release in Japan on the PS3. No release date f

See both character videos in the full story.

New Tales of Graces Trailer

GracesWii by Shawn

The Tales of Graces trailer from the recent Tales of Festival in Japan has been released. This game is the first mothership (Namco Bandai's term for non-spin-off games in the Tales of series) game for the Wii. The previous Tales of game for the Wii, Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, was classified as a spin-off sequel.

This trailer shows off Asbel running across the towns and dungeons in the game (all outside, however), then shifting to showing off the new Shift Style LMBS using Asbel and SoPhie, as well as the use of the new Around Step mechanic. The trailer finishes with some select story scenes from the game.

From our perspective, the game seems to take ideas from Team Destiny games such as the recent Tales of Destiny remake on the PlayStation 2, with Asbel being able to create 16-hit chains in only a few seconds. Aerial attacks are also included alongside the usual ground attacks. Tales of Graces is set to be released in Japan in Q4 2009. No North American release date has currently been announced.

The trailer can be found in the full story.
