New school-themed downloadable costumes for Tales of Vesperia have just been revealed. The game has numerous changes, such as a brand new character, Patty Fleur, the addition of new bosses like the Sword Dancer, Flynn being playable for more that just one battle, among other changes. The game will also be fully voiced and will include new and altered scenes, such as Yuri fighting Don Whitehorse when the party visits Keiv Moc.
The titles will be available for download on the PlayStation Network on October 29th, 2009. The price for the titles is currently unknown, however.
A new Director's Corner Video has been added to the official minisite for Tales of VS. on Tales Channel, the Japanese hub for the Tales of series. The game will pit the various Tales of characters in a fighting free-for-all, using their well-known Artes, locations from the different games, and even items from the various games, as well as each character's unique Mystic Arte.
Like most of the videos, this iteration shows off Presea Combatir (Tales of Symphonia) sparring off against Rita Mordio (Tales of Vesperia). The director uses Presea's attacks to knock Rita into the air, then uses Artes to keep juggling her until he knocks her to the other side of the arena.
Later, Judith (Tales of Vesperia) spars off against Shing Meteoryte (Tales of Hearts). The director uses Judith's attacks to knock Shing into the air, then uses her aerial Artes to keep him in the air until he ends with a Mystic Arte (if you remember, Judith excelled at aerial combat in Tales of Vesperia).
Judith (Tales of Vesperia) and Arche Klein (Tales of Phantasia) have been officially revealed to be in Tales of VS. The game will pit the various Tales of characters in a fighting free-for-all, using their well-known Artes, locations from the different games, and even items from the various games, as well as each character's unique Mystic Arte.
Nothing big seemed to be revealed in either video, although both do show off their own respective Mystic Artes. Judith uses Radiant Moonlight, while Arche gets one of her higher-tier spells from Tales of Phantasia, Big Bang.
