TotW: Radiant Mythology 3 At The Top Of This Week's Charts

Radiant Mythology 3PSP by Shawn

Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 3 has been out for a week, and with that means that the first week sales figures have been released. And not surprisingly, it turns out the game did quite well, indeed.

Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 3 is the third game in the Radiant Mythology series, which brings together Tales characters from many of the games in the long-running series. The third entry features 30 more characters for a total of 80 (with 76 of them being playable), an enhanced character creation tool, a data install option and a brand new aerial-view camera angle.

The game took the first place spot this week, selling 222,068 copies, with Samurai Warriors 3Z taking the second place spot at 208,548 copies. The third outing in the series sold better than the second game, which sold 212,765 copies, but just barely. The Radiant Mythology titles seem to drop off in sales after the first few weeks, so it should be interesting to see how the sales continue in the following weeks.

Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 3 was released on the PSP on February 10, 2011 in Japan. No word on an North American or European release.
