Last week we got an amazing response to our initial Burning Question segment asking fans what game they started out the series with. This week we have another question and it involves the two newly announced Tales titles in Japan.
For those who haven't been keeping track lately, here's a quick rundown. The first game announced, Tales of Innocence R, is a re-imagining of the original and includes a revised game theme, a new battle system and a new gameplay system alongside a new opening movie.
The second game announced, Tales of the Heroes: Twin Brave, plays similarly to the Musou/Dynasty Warriors franchise with the player controlling one character with a partner character being controlled by the game's AI. Characters from the mothership titles (and surprisingly enough Tales of the Tempest) will be included.
So now that you are caught up, here's this week's question...

American and European Tales of fans have had a great year so far with announcements of both Tales of the Abyss on the Nintendo 3DS and Tales of Graces f on the PS3 both being confirmed for release in both regions.
In that spirit, we're wanting to do the same and reach out to the fans of the series in a new segment which should look familiar to those of you who visit our sister sites Final Fantasy Union and Kingdom Hearts Union. To start things off we're wanting to ask you guys a question:

Last week, Yoshidumi-san, the Executive Producer of the Tales series, visited Namco Bandai's North American offices and signed a few copies of the limited edition version of Tales of Vesperia. That same post also hinted at a future contest. If you already saw the title, you may be wondering: "Why is this on Tales Union?"
In collaboration with Namco Bandai's Community Manager FilthieRich, the official Tales Series Facebook and Tales Union are working together to create a contest specifically made for you Tales fans which will test your skills in a uniquely Tales-ish way. There are six "tickets" in total, each one giving you a better chance of being the lucky fan who wins. And what are the prizes, you may ask?

Last week we kicked off the Cosplay of the Week section, in which we focus on the wonderful and amazing Tales cosplays created by fans around the world.
Estellise Sidos Heurassein is the center of this week's feature. Cosplayed by Yamane, she has also cosplayed other Tales characters such as Kratos Aurion and Pascal, as well as Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts.
The attention to detail in the costume is very impressive and really helps to bring the character to life. The sewing of the dress is absolutely flawless and shows off the insane attention to detail of the outfit.
Yesterday in this week's installment of the Staff Blog, we mentioned that we would be starting to roll out the new content schedule here at Tales Union. For those who frequent Final Fantasy Union, one of the many Unions here at Gaming Union, you may be aware of their latest addition to Tuesdays --- Cosplay of the Week.
After the rampant success of the section over there, we've decided to start it over here on Tales Union as well. For those who are unaware, cosplay is an interesting trade but one that has become well associated with the comic, anime and video gaming industry. Every year there are plenty of events where friends and strangers alike get together to dress up and parade around as their favourite characters. However, it's no simple task to recreate those costumes and this weekly feature aims to appreciate all of the hard work and dedication that cosplayers put into it.
