During this year's Tales of Festival we got our first look at Tales of Xillia's official boxart, which featured two currently unannounced characters. This week's scan reveals one of those characters --- specifically the man in the upper right who was just recently featured in the latest trailer for the game.
Tales of Xillia will utilize the contrast between light and shadow, which will lead to the game having a different art style direction than Vesperia's anime-style graphics or Graces's watercolor-style graphics (it could be more of a hand-painted or oil painting-like feel if the concept artwork is any indication). Baba stated that when he saw some of the concept artwork images running on actual hardware he was very impressed.

Almost a month after the last batch of scans for Tales of Xillia, new leaked scans revealing new game features and costumes for the upcoming game have surfaced as part of a four-page spread in the latest issue of Famitsu.
The main feature of the scans is a new grid-based ability system. Each character appears to have their own grid which allows them to learn new Artes and upgrade their attributes, which is done by using points which are gained in battle. Much like Final Fantasy X's Sphere Grid, players can determine how a character develops, so one could have a magician be more attuned to attacking if they so wish.

UPDATE (7/6): The full version of the scan has been added and the partial images have been removed.
The last time we heard news about Tales of Xillia, it was when the Tales of Festival 2011 trailers went live. This week we have a new batch of scans which showcases some new characters and gameplay mechanics.
The game will utilize the contrast between light and shadow, which will lead to the game having a different art style direction than Vesperia's anime-style graphics or Graces's watercolor-style graphics (it could be more of a hand-painted or oil painting-like feel if the concept artwork is any indication). Baba stated that when he saw some of the concept artwork images running on actual hardware he was very impressed.
The first two scan shows two of the characters that were present in the trailers from last week. The first character is the older man with the cross-shaped scar. His name is Nachtigal I. Fan and he is voiced by Hōchū Ōtsuka. He is the current king of La Schugall. The other man is named Ibal and is voiced by Showtaro Morikubo. He is a servant of sorts for Milla.

Yesterday, we found out about a new playable character in Tales of Xillia via a partial scan. A small version of what appears to be the rest of that scan has leaked which shows off the game's skit system and what appears to be some of the battle HUD.
As can be seen, in addition to the regular box-based skits we've come to know and love in previous Team Symphonia-handled Tales titles (this time called Long Chat) there are two new types of skits. The first is Fighting Chat, which are textless, non-animated and only voiced. This can be trigger when you switch out one party member for another (not one currently on a field, but one of the members in reserve).

UPDATE (12:14pm): Added a new scan and a higher-quality version of the original scan. New information about the skits and the battle HUD were also added.
It's been over a month since we last heard from Namco Bandai about any character reveals for Tales of Xillia, with Elise Rutas's reveal taking place early last month. A new partial scan has been leaked which shows off what appears to be the game's sixth and final playable character.
The character, a male, is named Lohen J. Ilbert (although some possible translations for the first name include Roen, Roan and Rowen, due to the quality of the scan) and surprisingly for the series, is 62 years old. As expected from how he looks, he's a butler for a noble family in the game. He's designed by Mutsumi Inomata.

UPDATE (4/20): Added new better-quality scans.
UPDATE (4/23): Apparently according to the developers there's still more characters to be revealed --- that train ticket was just merely showing off the currently revealed characters.
Last week, we got word of a new female character in Tales of Xillia, Elise Rutas. However, there wasn't much information available about her and the scan wasn't in full-color. This week, we have a new full-color scan.
According to the scan, Elise's doll, Tipo, has two different uses in battle. During "Tipo On", her summoning Artes are heightened and she's able to peform long-range attacks. During "Tipo Off", she's able to strengthen her normal Artes and Tipo does the actual melee attacks. Tipo is also able to protect Elise while's she casting.

Ever since the reveal of Tales of the Abyss 3DS, it's been known that some form of extras would be accompanying the port's release on the new handheld. But we hadn't known exactly what up until now, thanks to a new scan that's just been released.
Tales of the Abyss 3DS, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo, Namco Bandai Tales of the Abyss was originally released on the PS2 on December 15, 2005 and was localized in North America on October 10, 2006. The game was regarded as an improvement over Tales of Symphonia, extending that game's multi-line battle system into a battle system which allows players to freely move about the field in battle.
From what can be seen in the scan, it appears that the extras might simply be the additional Mystic Artes which were found in the North American PS2 version of the game. It doesn't appear that anything else was revealed in this scan, but it may be the case that more additions might be planned as we get closer to the game's release in May.
Tales of the Abyss 3DS will be released in Japan on May 19, 2011. No word has been given on a North American or European release.
