With only two more days left before the official release of Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X in Japan, Namco Bandai has put up two more costume videos, this time centered around Dio's Sniper costume and Mel's Princess costume.
The Sniper costume seems to favor both short and long-range attacks, with Dio being able to attack at close-range and from afar during different parts in the video. Mel's Princess costume appears to have her wield a spear, which obviously caters to close-range attacks.t

After about a month since the last costume update, Namco Bandai has put up some more costume videos for Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X, focusing on Dio's Masquerade costume and Mel's Battle Master costume.
Both costumes seem to focus on fast and furious aerial attacks, much like some of the combos that were present in Tales of Graces and the PS2 version of Tales of Destiny. From all the videos we've seen so far, it appears that players that enjoy fast, frantic action and those who enjoy slow, thoughtful action will be at home with the game.

We've seen various gameplay and dialogue videos of Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X, but we've yet to see the game's skits in action. That changes as of today, as Namco Bandai has just added videos showcasing it on the game's official website.
As seen in previous scans, Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X uses the old-school, face "box"-style skit format, although the boxes and the characters are much more animated than in games like Tales of Symphonia. The first video showcases Mel, Dio, Kururu and Etos, while the second video showcases Dio, Etos and Claus F. Lester.

After Namco Bandai revealed that two demos for Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X would be released during July at the recent Tales of Festival 2010, many were wondering exactly when the release dates would be. After the first demo for the improved version of Tales of Phantasia was released on July 8, there had been no word on the demo for Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X, until now.
According to various blogs and sources in Japan, the demo will be released on July 22 on the game's official website and on the PlayStation Store. The demo will take place in Sylph's dungeon in an area called Lone Valley. Mel and Dio will be playable along with a selection of costumes alongside Londrine (no word if Kururu will be playable).

We've seen some of the costumes in Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X, as well as some of its many characters, but we haven't seen any of the character's Mystic Artes. This has changed thanks to some new partial scans which shows off some of them.
While none of the scans show the cut-ins for Dio, Mel and Londrine in-game, their cut-ins are next to the images. The cut-ins appear to be for the sword fighter, fighter, magician and Monk, as well as Londrine's Mystic Arte.
If the past few weeks hold true, this information should be available on the official website in greater detail in the next few weeks.
With all the recent tie-ins with other Namco Bandai properties in Tales games, many were wondering if Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X would follow the same path. According to a recent Famitsu scan, it appears that that has come to be true.
The new costumes shown in the scan are Ninja, Shooter, Summoner, Emperor, Knight, Bishop and a Monk. It also seems that special clothes, such as Haruka from the The Idolmaster is available using a costume system, which has the player enter a string of five symbols from a set of 16.
Like Tales of VS., it's likely that various Japanese gaming magazines will be releasing the rest of the passwords.
