Graces And Phantasia Are Present In Tales of the Heroes: Twin Brave

PSP by Shawn

It's almost been a month since our last real bit of Tales of the Heroes: Twin Brave news as most of the focus has been on Tales of Innocence R for the PlayStation Vita as of late. Two new scans have been released which showcase four more of the character present in the upcoming title.

Unlike the other Tales escort titles on the PSP, this game plays similarly to the Musou/Dynasty Warriors franchise with the player controlling one character with a partner character being controlled by the game's AI. Characters from the mothership titles (and surprisingly enough Tales of the Tempest) will be included.

As can be seen in the scan, Asbel and Cheria will be representing Tales of Graces while Cress and Chester will be representing Tales of Phantasia. Outside of that there doesn't seem to be anything else of importance to note in the scans that we haven't already touched upon earlier during our coverage of the game.

Asbel And Cheria Appear in God Eater Burst

PSP by Shawn

Outside of the Tales series, Namco Bandai has a number of other series that they are involved in. One such title is God Eater Burst (known as Gods Eater Burst internationally). Namco Bandai, through the game's official Japanese blog, has announced that there will be a Tales of Graces-related tie-in for the game.

As can be seen on the blog posting, an Asbel costume for male characters can be seen. There is also an image for a Cheria costume, although the developers blurred it out (not enough to not be able to make it out, however).

According to the blog posting, the DLC will be released in Japan on February 10. The North American version of the game will be released on March 15. It's not currently known if this DLC will be included at a later date alongside the North American release of Tales of Graces f.

Tales of Graces f Unveils Website With Two New Videos

Graces fPS3 by Shawn

Since the initial reveal of Tales of Graces f late last month, the official website for the game was only a teaser site with the game's official logo and some music playing in the background. Namco Bandai has finally properly unveiled the website, and it includes some new character videos.

Tales of Graces f (the f stands for "future") has an extra post-game story which takes place after the game's original ending. Without spoiling anything, there seems to be an increase in the monster population, which increases the amount of monster attacks around the world. This causes Asbel and his group to set off once again to determine the cause behind the recent disturbance.

There doesn't seem to be anything new in the videos, but it does give a better look at the improved in-game graphics which we've only seen in motion in the game's first trailer.

Tales of Graces f is set for a Winter 2010 release in Japan on the PS3. No release date f

Tales of Festival: Day 2 News

PSP by Shawn

Earlier today was the second day of Tales of Festival 2010, but unlike yesterday there doesn't seem to be that much news coming, except for the rest of the popularity poll results and some other minor Tales news.

As we reported on earlier, Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X will be receiving a pre-order bonus DVD. The name of the DVD will be Dramatic DVD Tales of Costume!?. There's also rumours that an Asbel costume for Dio will be made available, which would make sense considering he appears on the DVD.

Tales of Festival: Day 1 News

ToS: The AnimationPSP by Shawn

Earlier today was the first day of Tales of Festival 2010, which brought some new news along with it, along with partial results of the Tales of Popularity poll that was going on at Tales Channel earlier this year.

Namco Bandai has confirmed the rumors that Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X will be having demos. The first demo will hit in early July, which will focus on the improved battle system in the Tales of Phantasia part of the game. Later in the month, a second demo will hit which features the Narikiri Dungeon X portion of the game. The rumored August 5, 2010 release date was also confirmed at the event.

As for the rumored PS3 Tales game, known as Tales of Unitia, the game was a no-show at the Festival except for a mention that this Summer a "major" announcement would occur. It's unknown why they would push the unveiling that far, but they may be putting some extra polish on the game and didn't want to unveil it just yet.

More news as well as the results of the popularity polls can be found in the full story.

New Mutsumi Inomata Costume For Asbel

GracesWii by Shawn

Dengeki has just revealed news about a new Mutsumi Inomata-themed costume for Asbel Lhant in Tales of Graces. Tales of Graces is the first mothership (the official series term for non-spin off games) for the Wii. The previous Wii Tales of title was Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, which was classified as a spin-off sequel.

Like the Mutsumi Inomata costumes for Pascal and Cheria Barnes, as well as the costume for Hubert Ozwell, Asbel's costume is very unique, appearing to mesh the ideas of a samurai and a aircraft pilot. According to Dengeki, the DLC will be 400 Nintendo Points and will be released on March 10th starting at 1pm JST (Japanese Standard Time). No information has been given on costumes for Richard or Malik Caesars.
