Only a month to go until Tales of Symphonia Chronicles releases in western countries, and that means it’s time for the trailers to start rolling out. Today Namco Bandai released the first set of character introduction videos for the game. The videos give a sneak peek at Lloyd, Colette, and Kratos, and their Japanese audio tracks, which English-speakers will have the option of using for the first time with this release.Read More
Namco Bandai has announced that the latest title in the long-running Tales of series, Tales Of Zestiria, will be coming to North America and Europe following its Japanese announcement earlier this morning.
This news follows earlier announcements this year with the localizations of Tales of Xillia 2 and Tales of Symphonia Chronicles, both of which are set to release in 2014.

It’s the news you’ve been waiting for. Tales of Symphonia Chronicles will be released in North America on February 25, 2014, and in Europe and Australasia on February 28 of the same year. The game will ship with a standard and collector’s edition, the latter of which we recently detailed. As a reminder, the collector’s edition is limited to 15,000 copies in NA, and 10,000 copies for EU and AUSTL combined, so place orders early if interested.Read More
New York Comic Con 2013 (also known as NYCC 2013) is taking place this weekend and Namco Bandai has brought some new news regarding Tales of Xillia 2 to the show, namely in the form of a new English-dubbed trailer.
Tales of Xillia 2 is a sequel to the original Tales of Xillia and takes place a year after its conclusion. The sequel features an improved battle system which allows the player to switch between different weapon styles at-will during battle. Direct choices can now be made during specific cutscenes similar to Square Enix's Final Fantasy XIII-2 which affects the outcome of the events in real-time.
Tales of Xillia 2 was announced for localization before Tales of Xillia was even released, stated due to impressive pre-order numbers from the first game.
