It’s the news you’ve been waiting for. Tales of Symphonia Chronicles will be released in North America on February 25, 2014, and in Europe and Australasia on February 28 of the same year. The game will ship with a standard and collector’s edition, the latter of which we recently detailed. As a reminder, the collector’s edition is limited to 15,000 copies in NA, and 10,000 copies for EU and AUSTL combined, so place orders early if interested.Read More
New York Comic Con 2013 (also known as NYCC 2013) is taking place this weekend and Namco Bandai has brought some new news regarding Tales of Xillia 2 to the show, namely in the form of a new English-dubbed trailer.
Tales of Xillia 2 is a sequel to the original Tales of Xillia and takes place a year after its conclusion. The sequel features an improved battle system which allows the player to switch between different weapon styles at-will during battle. Direct choices can now be made during specific cutscenes similar to Square Enix's Final Fantasy XIII-2 which affects the outcome of the events in real-time.
Tales of Xillia 2 was announced for localization before Tales of Xillia was even released, stated due to impressive pre-order numbers from the first game.
New York Comic Con (also known as NYCC) 2013 is taking place this weekend and Namco Bandai brought some Tales-related news to the convention. First up is some interesting news regarding Tales of Symphonia Chronicles.
As can be seen in the image, the Collector's Edition will include the same items as the Japanese version with the addition of a soundtrack CD. This edition will be limited to 15,000 copies in North America.

Tales of Symphonia Chronicle’s two newest cameo costumes come to us from Tales of Graces. Regal will be getting Malik Caesar’s clothes, while Raine will get Pascal’s. As with the other cameo costumes, these can be unlocked either by completing the game, or by having a Tales of Graces f save file.Read More
Hot from Tokyo Game Show Namco Bandai has uploaded the first English footage of the sequel to the recently released Tales of title, Tales of Xillia 2. The footage that is shown is only cutscenes and one of the voice overs for the dub can be heard narrating what can be described as you choosing your very own path. A new element Namco Bandai introduced in the series is the silent protagonist as well as you making choices that reflect him and lead you down a path towards one of the different endings.
